Got all my parts in today. The valve guides measure 12.07mm. The manual calls for a 12.2mm reamer. I assume I am just cleaning up the top and bottom of the bore? If I pass it completely through the head is ruined.

Not sure on the guides, never done any, but a friend of my buddy Grant's has some valve seat cutting equipment he recently inherited...Jake Smith Motor Works, look him up, ask him if he's got what you'd need. He rents warehouse space from my buddies (who have a giant warehouse filled with bikes to sell or restore or just collect).
Grant is the one with the untitled GS650. Sorry we never got back in touch about that frame you have! He may still be interested.

Adrenaline Performance in Lancaster, Ohio is a motorcycle shop that does all their own in-house machine work FYI
I was just talking to them about doing some work for me after multiple recommendations. 2-3 days on machine work
