"The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada."

Came across this gem on TV this morning. Never heard of it. But it’s Tommy Lee Jones, so what ya gonna do. Happy to have wasted a few hours on a Sunday morning.

Yep, that's a good one, saw it a few weeks ago. Not a fan of Jason Clark but he was "real" in this one.

Especially during October, ever since we started dating in '89, the wife and I seek out horror movies. Can't get enough of them. Good ones, bad ones, ones that are so bad they're good. Doesn't matter, we'll watch almost anything. I was recently re-acquainted with the not-quite-classic by David Cronenberg, The Brood. Think I last saw it when I was about 12. I think It holds up. Not great, but not terrible, either.

Mike Flanagan's Haunting series (Hill House and most recently, Bly Manor) are the best and most beautiful horror series going. Simply put, they are perfect.

It's definitely horror comedy, but I thought it was fun.

No, we're all.past our prime but still refuse to give up! A documentary on The Church of the SubGenius has finally been released (about 20 years beyond being relevant) and is now available to stream on GoogleTV and Vudu. Here's a clip that gives you an idea of what it's about, not too poorly done but we can assure you it would have been far worse, twice as bizarre and three times less understandable had we done it ourselves.

Might as well get Apple TV too now - sadly all of the Charlie Brown holiday specials (Great Pumpkin, Thanksgiving, Christmas) WILL ONLY be available on AppleTV starting this year. Of course, AppleTV will show them for free for a few days in each month but again - you must have AppleTV which means you spend money on it anyway.

                              Seriously, why?
