    New member from Melbourne, Australia

Hi, i have been riding bikes for years but have never attempted a restore\rejuvenation of a bike. I,ve also never had a garage to work in. I have just moved house and have a garage, we are also locked down here due to the virus. So as i cant go anywhere i looked for a project. Today my 1977 GS750 got delivered its mostly stock, but needs work. So I'm going to learn as i go, and hopefully not stuff it up too much!

Welcome to the site! Melbourne: the locale of one of my favorite movies, 1959's On The Beach. Just watched it a few days ago.

Welcome from up in Brissie! Always good to see other Aussies join the fun in here, good luck with the project.

If you're not aware of Mick Hone down there, I can highly recommend them as a good dealer.

Hey Janc . Greetings from FNQ , (near Cairns) . All the info you'll ever need is right here . Have fun with the re-build . Looks like you're going to have plenty of time .
There's a mob in the States called Alphasports that I found pretty good . They've got exploded parts diagrams that come in handy . Good prices , prompt delivery (about a week) and have never had a problem .

            Cheers , Simon .
