    Dave Davis would have been 63 today.

    I never did get the chance to meet him, he sounds like someone that would have been nice to know.

    Dave was a unique fellow, made me laugh every time we were together.

    Where was he from? I ask because I seem to remember a similar name from the CB1100F forum from years ago and I think he may have been involved in an F transaction of mine.

    Was, what? 7? years ago he passed on?

    I recall riding with the group he was leading my first Brown County, 2005.

    I recall two entire table of guys laughing with him. (2007, in Columbus) He had moved his chair over to the rotating pie display case, sat close there watching the pies going around. With exaggerated expressions, watch one piece of pie go around for a while, and describe it to us, then for a while look at one spot and watch the parade of pies going bye, then describe the experience to us. Purposely entertaining all of us.

    And he would lead a group ride each day.

    Had 850G for 14 years. Now have GK since 2005.
