The Blue Ridge Parkway is my balm during this Covid situation.

I live in Asheville, so at least once a week I get on the Parkway and ride my GS1000 for around 20 miles. The beauty of nature on this road helps me mentally and spiritually.

Yeah, I agree that 20 miles on the BRP could easily change your attitude, but the same 20 miles time and time again?

20 miles on BRP is great, but 200 is even better.

20, 40 or 200. Any miles on the BRP are worth it.
Love living and riding in WNC.

Who was the Darksider who did a thousand miles on the BRP, non-stop to set a record?
Or was it a full 24 hours?
        One of the two.

Was not BRP (Blue Ridge Parkway). No way to do that, the speed limit is way too low.

You are thinking of Yellow Wolf, who did 24 hours on the Tail of the Dragon (also known as "Deal's Gap") and managed to log 1000+ miles to make it an official Iron Butt ride.

            That's the one.
            Impressive stuff, either way.
