You must have an OLD Wing.

I just checked on the price for a rear tire for MY Wing, it's $225.

If you can find E4 tires that fit your bike, get them.
If you can find a set for $140, even better.
A set of Shinko tires for our GSes goes for about $140.

I wish they had been that cheap a couple of years ago, when I bought three sets of them.

Cheeze !! At that price id be interested but the 491 elite II s I once had were the worst tires Ive ever had. Felt like I was on ice in every corner. Its been a long time so maybe the new Dunlops are better.

I can guarantee that the E4s are MUCH better than the old 491 Elite II. I had some 491s on my KZ1300 for a while. Different bike now with the E4s, but handling is still handling.

My son is a bit more "rambunctious" with his 1000G than I am with my 850G, he has had no complaint.

As far as wear is concerned, I neglected to measure the tread depth when the tires were new. When he had 5000 miles on them, his rear tire had 7/32". Now, with 9548 miles, the tread depth is 5/32".

I really do not need tires yet for my GS850GL - But I am considering buying them cause these are really good tires for a great price...
              Change them ..just because..

Mine came in, also from 2017 but appear to have been stored properly. I suspect that is why they are so cheap. I’ll use them happily.

                  I ordered a set -
My current Michelin Commander II's have around 14K on them total -
The front still looks pretty good but the rear is starting to show some wear .

So for $132 plus tax delivered I ordered a set of E4s to go on in Spring

cheap enough to throw out some miles on the old set - and I plan on putting some serious miles on the 850 in 2021

No, no, NO. There should be NO "serious" miles, they should all be FUN.

Good to see others took advantage of the price on these, I'm quite happy with the one I bought.
