Since no-one seems to know Bill Gregory's GSR username, if he's actually a member (do non-members get to submit photos for BOTM?) He's not on the list of current site supporters (which lists real names w/ usernames). So unless he decides to chime in here, we may never know.

Just amongst the brain trust that is on this site, is it possible to run an air cooled bike of such size and power without an oil cooler?

If not, how/where is it hidden?

If so, what are the tuning/building/shaping/porting specs that make it possible to run cool enough without an oil cooler?

Beautiful build. That swingarm is functional art.

When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

Yes, I could not agree more. That swing arm is beautiful. I also really like the way they did the tail section. It might inspire me to be a copycat. The 82/83 1100e's are my favorite gs's but I am
    biased.
I know what you guys mean about the lack of oil cooler. My Lockhart is not very big but it lowers the oil temperature by 20 degrees f on a stock 1100e. I also find the RFY a odd choice of rear shock on a high end build.
