Seat pan options for an '81 GS550T?

Currently resurrecting an '81 GS550T whose seat pan was toast, i.e. the front mounting shafts were totally gone and the front section mostly rusted out. I'm not going for a perfect restoration, just some type of flat/bench seat to fit my 6'3" frame. I have other small bikes (Triumph Bonnie, CB350) and the flat seats work well.

    My seat options are:
    1. Find an exact replacement on fleabay. Could be tricky since the T was a relatively rare model
    2. Build a seat pan out of wood, fiberglass, etc.
    3. Buy an aftermarket ebay seat
    4. Re-use a seat pan from some other GS model? Is this even possible, i.e. would the front and rear mounting points line up? This would allow me to re-use the keyed seat switch on the rear of the seat.

Relevant pic of project is below

    Thanks

I found the old thread pasted below, which is close to my question, but not exactly the same

Just send him a message asking for some; if they don't reply then he didn't want to sell it. I've dealt with that place before and they aren't bad
