    Suzuki gs1000 carb idle

    Hi i recently bought a gs1000e.
    It has some idle issues.
When bike is warmed up with choke off, after you give the bike a quick rev the engine goes to a low idle as if its about to cut out then it will slowly pick up revs again but idles roughly from between 1100 to 1500 revs.
Ive ultrasonicly cleaned the carbs and reset the float heights.
    Any ideas ?
    Thanks

A fluctuating idle can be caused by an air leak.
Are they properly seated in the air box and manifold rubbers. Cracks in the rubbers.
Did you completely disassemble the carbs for the ultrasonic cleaning?

    What year is your GS1000E?

Also, have you adjusted the valves and done all of the neglected maintenance?
Plus one on whether you have slide or CV carbs
