    Done.
After hundred of hours of hard work over 7 month, my 17 son just successfully restored a GS650GL that had not run for 11 years sitting outside, on its kickstand, in Montreal weather.
It just couldn't happen without the unvaluable help of the GSR forum community knowledge and wisdom.
    Thanks a lot.

Well, welcome Phil, and thanks for contributing. Don't be a stranger. Now that you've revealed yourself, you or your son are obligated to show us pictures (not in this thread, go to the GS Owners forum and introduce yourself, your son, and the bike).

Dang I hope it went thru, I'm never sure about what buttons to push on this thing. Thanks for the reminder.

I contributed back on 9/26, not sure if it asked me to indicate my forum name. Thanks for keeping this running.

Glad to contribute! I sent the Admin a PM on 12/9/2021 since my profile hasn’t been changed showing a site supporter. Donated on 11/18/2021. Listed my board name too when I donated through PayPal. Maybe with this edit that will be acknowledged as I may not have typed enough characters to begin with!
