    Where to buy discontinued jets

The top of a few pilot jets have been more or less stripped and I was looking for new ones but atleast the original pilot jets cannot be found. I do have a exhaust and it's pretty free flowing so I probably do need to tune the carbs accordingly. Is there any pilot jets that are half a size up that are available just to be on the safe side of tuning? I believe they are 42.5, the part number is 09492-42007.

Spark for some type reference but one doesnt look right that's getting solved now.

The last time I was running the bike i was only going up to like 4k mainly

In most cases the bike will run fine with a header and stock jetting as long as the airbox is still installed. It's pod airfilters which cause the jetting nightmares. And even when running pods it's rare to mess with the pilot jets when running CV carbs. The ever popular Dynojet kits come with new mains and needles, while running the stock pilots.

Dennis Kirk is a good source for OEM Mikuni jets.

Darn I should've waited, I ordered size 45 instead of 42.5, I called to see if they could change them out before the package is sent but I had to leave a voicemail, all is well ifnot!

I may try them, I'll know if the power is not there, the exhaust is very free flowing as in the only restriction is a competition muffler, not even a street muffler. My bike seriously kicks in when its main jets are turned on and they are 1 size up, I dont know if the powerband just hits that hard at the top 2000 rpm or if that one size up has really helped that much.

I also know the airflow can be adjusted, but slightly. Maybe itll be enough to get the exhaust tuned on correctly?
