GS850 - what is this port and where does it connect?

    Hi,

    1982 GS850G.

On carb #2 there's a port (see attached photo).

What is this bronze port and where does it connect?

    Thank you,

    Maurice

And if you don't have a vacuum operated petcock it should be plugged.

What is it with carburettors. Everything that should be open gets plugged and everything that should be plugged, miraculously gets opened.

                  Hi Rich,

All my carb hose questions were answer on pages 71 & 72 from the Mikuni BS carb rebuild tutorial.
