    Talking We put an offer on a house yesterday, and we got it!!!

    Some of you may remember I posted a few weeks ago that my wife and I put an offer on a house, but it was beat by a competing offer. Well, we gave it a second shot yesterday, put an offer on another house and our offer was chosen! This place is even better than the last one

    Man, are we psyched! Been renting for a while, very excited to get our feet wet and our hands dirty with a place of our own. The garage is not as big as I was hoping but, it'll do. We're not the kind of people that garage our cars anyway so it looks like I have a new workshop, plus the back yard is HUGE so I'll build a shed out there at some point.

    So yea,
    • good size house, check
    • big back yard, check
    • great school district for the kiddo, check

    Home ownership is awesome. Sure it's a challenge to replace a hot water heater or outlet on the fly but it's nice to be able to do what you want to your property...
