When I die, just cremate me and put me in my GS tank. That way I can go through these carbs, one more time!

I think he might be a distant half-step-neighbor-in-law! But he does love his Red GS1100E!

Doesn't show up on the Canada search....but he did move to the USA in 1990.

Nice bike that "no other hands laid on".

For those perhaps dismayed that my nearly perfect Owned since new GS 1100E March BOM is still here as of April 20..... Well, when ya got a nice one, what else is there.

I joined the GSR in September 2006. Grand Rouge. Removed due to plus 5 months of inactivity probably in early 2020. The great photo of my beautiful GS 1100E was submitted for BOM in mid 2019. Still have my GS, still looks and rides and performs as new....actually better in many cases..... Series RR, Chris Livengood re built / modified RFY shocks...they work really well when properly set up, Race Tech Gold Emulators, Sonic Springs, MotoBatt AGM, 530 conversion, 86 GS 1150 rear wheel, Avon Rubber, Pearson Racing modded clutch basket, GS 1150 hub, FBG fibers, 750 oil pump gears, Factory Pro carb innards..which included..adjustable needles with Mikuni jets up one size all around, anti dive units eliminated, proper block off plates installed, EBC brake pads, Rennsport brake hoses, ...............and more. Oh and a purchased new in 1985 proper black and very simple and rare luggage rack. And as of this day, no other hands but mine have been laid on my GS 1100E.

So.......what do you think...... is it Administrator error re April BOM.....or are ya A OK with Grand Rouge (French for Big Red) hanging around for now....might be gone soon...who knows..... Anyway, great riding weather here in Sacramento so I shall abandon the key board for a while. Best regards, Dallas aka formerly Grand Rouge....check out perhaps 800 posts under that handle......

I'm always a little concerned when something is happening in the forum that Frank hasn't gotten around to, but in these COVID times, I can't help but be that much more concerned. I do hope all is well in Frank's world.

April BOTM is a very nice '83 750E. Not an 11E, but still nice.
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

Dallas, now that I know the March bike is yours, I can appreciate it. You sold me a GSR patch 2 years ago that I proudly sport on my leather riding jacket, and a sticker that covers up a boo boo from a side cover repair.

Your bike is beautiful and I certainly don’t mind looking at it for another month.
