New owner of an Old ‘77 bobber

I just acquired this ‘77 project and look forward to taking it in my own direction and appreciate, in advance, the resources and support from this community. I’m located in Social Circle, Georgia.

I have a '77 GS550, but I don't recognize this "guy". Tell us something about it -- and what your project is all about.

Just traded into this bike and am taking inventory of the parts bins that came with it. It looks to have everything needed to get it back running. 1st projects will be wiring and plumbing. I’m lucky enough to have a couple of tanks and several headlights to choose from. Ultimately, the goal is a dependable Cafe racer with clean lines and sparse instrumentation.

...and a good muffler I hope.

        Good luck with your project.
