    80 750E Carb Question? BS34's

Hey All...Thanks for having me here. Found 80 Gs 750 0n the cheap. Came with Mikuni bs34's Barely idled without throttle.okay thru mid range, not much top end. Upon cleaning.. Main 122,jet needle 5FL51,Pilot 37.5, air fuel jets turned out 1.5,0.5,1.5,1.25 Chokes a little out of wack, one remaining out 1/4 when I drove it home,Uni foam filters.... I know they should be bs32's with proper jetting and air box. I've found airbox and can aquire bs32's for 350.00 would have to go thru and clean check everything of course. My question? Could I make these bs34's work with some different jets and airbox? any input would be greatly appreciated being new here...Thank's in Advance....

Yes, the 34's can be made to work. I can't guide you on jetting but I'm sure it can be done. Kawasaki GPz750's used BS34's so why not a GS?

$350 seems on the high end unless the carbs are in really nice condition. Whatever you buy plan on going through them using the carb tutorial linked in my signature.

Hessteria, you’ve posted the same question in at least 3 different sub-forums. Please just keep this one and delete all of the others. Makes for a bit of a mess when you do this.
