    Picked another GS1000

    Look to be in nice shape, last time on the road was 1994.It was bought for parts but after seeing it I cannot part it out.

    Already with spokes, tank have the infamous GS dent, exhaust need work.

      A Windjammer SS fairing with lowers. That was a desirable setup. Made cool weather riding very comfortable. Too bad so many people dis them now.

        The windjammer look new, even came with 2 original vetter keys. I will keep it, I will try to sell or trade the back rack, over here its a rare piece, its a Lockhart.

                Nice! Yeah the Vetter stuff really looks dated now but not much beats it for wind protection.

                    Trouble is, there's not all that many people these days do long days and long distances in appalling weather, else they'd soon change their tune.
                    Most of the classic Big Fours are being bought by those who will only take them out on good days. Can't say I blame them, but my bikes have always earned their keep and they're not toys.
