    plug those holes?

So what is the method of plugging the crossover holes when abandoning the shared air hose in the front forks? I am replacing the forks on my 80 1100L with E forks.

I have a thread going "do they make some type of block-off plates for anti-dive GS750ES ?" that describes what some members have done to fabricate a pair of them from 3/8" aluminum plate. There are also aftermarket items for sale that oldGSfan has posted/linked that are $125.

You guys are talking about 2 different things. Bill, Vince’s air crossover has nothing at all to do with the Anti-dive system you’re dealing with.

Oh,ok,I understand now.I thought he might have meant 'hydraulic anti-dive' and made a mistake and said "air hose" instead of hydraulic hose.
        My mistake.

Several people have mentioned JB weld and that's what I did, works but yeah I admit it's a bit unsavory.

How about something like brazing the holes shut? I think they're up at the top of the fork?

My thought was to tap the holes and lock tight in some plugs…..hmmm

I suppose as long as the threaded plug doesn’t protrude proud of the inner surface of the upper chromed tube so it doesn’t interfere with the movement of the spring or any spacer that may travel there.

Good thought on the tape, the set screw is my thought, and can always be removed.
