So that's what you order. Pingel will help you.
I put a Pingel on my '83 1100E years ago. No vacuum line needed, and I used the recommended adapter plate.
I don't have the number or link off hand, but I will look at my records if you can't find it on line.

A bad petcock won't cause one cylinder not to fire. Most likely gummed up carbs.

And why haven't you adjusted the valves? The engine will get damaged by ignoring this critical maintenance task. I tend to doubt it's causing the issue at hand but still...

Thanks! Theirs like six different options for a petcock and two or three for an adapter plate. guess I’d just have to call and figure it out.

Well it apparently fixed this one plugging the vacuum line. the bike has 14 something thousand which isn’t that many miles for a big inline four. and it’s never been ridden hard. I was planning on checking/adjusting the valves when I do a new valve cover gasket.

Then get the 6211-CH. Two choices in adaptor plate, just measure the distance between the screws on the one you currently have, either 44mm (A1702C) or 50mm (A1902C).
