    GS1000 V/C gasket question?

Suzuki valve cover gaskets for the GS1000 are on backorder. How is the quality of the Vesrah brand in comparison? Thanks

I never had an issue with those.
But i feel the quality is a bit lower than OEM, (smoother and harder)
so unless the surfaces of cam cover and head are perfect i use a thin
smear of silicone sealant on both sides.

Older Vesrah were definitely better, pretty much the same as OEM, as in, fit and forget.
I'm fairly sure Vesrah were one of the OEM suppliers back in the day.
However, I've found that current Vesrah tend to settle and need re-tightened after a while.
