    Cam cover end trim removal.

Evening guys, can anyone tell me how to remove the round chrome end caps from the cam cover on an 81 gs450?
There are 2 tiny cutaways on the underside of the caps, looking with a mirror shows there are 2 cross head screws inside but no physical clearance to get a driver in there!

Yeah, cover has to come off to remove those screws. No problems removing the cover with them on.

Yep, just remove the cam cover. For some reason, the 450s and 650s had the "hidden screw" feature.

Possibly a cunning ruse by Zuk to prevent cam cap cover theft. Or it just looked better without two screws on it.

I've always read it as another designer wanting to put his fingerprints on what he's drawn.
