Quite possibly the coolest recovery vehicle ever.

    And with gorgeous views.

I've watched their videos before (not this one). I love that vehicle, and love this crew.

Definitely seems like a cool group. I like how everyone who receives a tow gets a t shirt.
I watched another video of them doing a family trip up the Rubicon trail with the Corvair and a few other vehicles.
In my opinion its exactly what being a vintage vehicle enthusiast is about. Build something, use the heck out of it, and smile.

Well into the late 90s there was a heavy duty towing company in North Jersey that kept a small but impeccable fleet of 60s B model Mack trucks as tow rigs. It always made me smile when I drove past seeing those beauties waiting for the call.

Yes, those, but in a larger scale. Beautiful trucks.
A friend of my father's has one that he used for many years in his small trucking company. After years of service he restored it and still occasionally used it for work. He did such a detailed job on the restoration that a toy company photographed it detail to produce a model.
He was one of those incredibly smart, do it yourself, old school farmer types and as the story goes he got into a "debate" with a Mack engineer about how something was incorrectly engineered causing failure - and he was correct.

Yeah, I've been watching Matts Off-road Recovery almost since it started. The way he remains calm is amazing.
They're fixing up the Jeep Cherokee "Banana" now.

I’ve been watching their videos and upgrades on the Banana. I love their seat of the pants approach to upgrades.

What they do tends always to be driven by pragmatics. I dig that.
