I see Cometic makes a 73.5 mm bored head gasket

I used a Cometic on my stock bore GS1000 and it's doing just fine.

Cometic on my 1085 as well, better than OEM in my opinion.

Yeah, the Cometic is what came in the 1085 kit, so that's a no brainer
How about the base gasket? I see Z1 has one, no manufacturer name

Just my opinion but I'd buy OEM Suzuki gaskets. There are 1100G head gaskets available on ebay for a fair price, and base gaskets for the 1000 too.

I'm not sure what the H17 means on the PN. If you remove that and search ebay there are a number of others.

I'll get the rest of my gaskets from my local dealer

Who would'v thought that stuff like gaskets would become obsolete?
A few years back I was asked to put together a list of stuff that would be submitted for a remanufacturing program, nothing seems to have come of that but the vintage parts program came as a spin off.
Nowhere would I have thought that stuff like gaskets would be discontinued. Head gaskets have always been eye wateringly expensive, the composite ones were discontinued in favor of MLS and were still hella expensive...

Don't say can't, as anything is possible with time and effort, but, if you don't have time things get tougher and require more effort.
