    1980 GS1100E Rebuild

Several years ago, I tore down an inherited 1100ET. And then it sat...

I spent a good chunk of late summer finally rebuilding it. Aside from recently deciding to delay bodywork repaint, I've refreshed, repainted, replaced, and/or repaired pretty much every part on the bike. I'm now buttoning up the essentials to get it running and dial it in before finishing it up. Bodywork next summer, perhaps, although at the moment there is something that I like about an essentially new bike with that old bodywork patina.
