      If you want to compare old bike capabilities with new bikes, get one that's in new condition. The lack of knowledge these guys are showing leaves me seriously unimpressed. I had this same bike nearly new, 3K in 1982, and the brakes & handling were just fine. It's also better looking easily than those plumbing nightmares they are pushing today.

        The guy seems like a bit of a drama queen based on my only watching this episode.
        Agreed, that a well sorted bike would be a better comparison.
