My posts don't show up in "New"

    Hi,
I'm just curious why my posts don't show up under the new category when I post updates or if somebody
responds ? I'm thinking maybe I'm the only one who can't see them since they have Views. I do get them in
the "My Profile" section. Just wondering.

    Thanks

This one showed up in New Posts.

When you start a new thread, or respond to a post, it will not then show up under New Posts for you, just as this reply will not show up under New Posts for me. But this post, now #2 in the thread should show up for you when you click on New Posts.

That is because "new posts" are the ones that were recently updated. Your 'new' post has not been updated.

Don't listen to them. The real reason is that almost nothing of what we post is new

Click on your username and you'll see the newest of your posts.
When in New Posts, click on Activity Stream and you'll see the latest posts from everyone. Yours should be near the top for a while.

Actually I have made several updates on my project bike "Hi Ho Silver". I guess its just me that doesn't see them in
          "New Posts".

            Mad,
If you're referring to this post:
Are you doing a restoration project of some kind on a GS? Let everyone see what you are doing by posting the details here.

Yes, they have shown under New Posts when you've made updates last week. Again, they wouldn't, and shouldn't show up as a "New Post" for you. You made the post, so it stands to reason that this site would mark them as "read" for your login and not show up in "New Posts".

They will only show up as "New Posts" for you when someone else adds a post to that thread. You might get more interest and comments if you posted larger pictures that were linked to a picture hosting site like imgur, Instead thumbnails that have to be clicked on to enlarge. I didn't see any questions in your recent posts in that thread, so really not much for anyone comment on.

I can never see a post of mine until I click "refresh." Then it's visible.
