    Are your neighbors Xmas crazy?

Here in the States, it's traditional to start your Xmas decorations after Thanksgiving ( next Thursday)
My neighbors already have their houses all lit up and decorated trees in the living room.
    Is it a new virus?

I saw lights on a roof and an inflatable santa at a chimney.

Not now, but have some neighbors that went crazy for Halloween this year.

Never before has anyone in my neighborhood went crazy for any holiday, cept this time, at Halloween.

Their house was decked out like a medieval castle, or something.
Thing is they did it , dressed it all up on Halloween day, only got to see the full effect for a few hours.
They had lights, torches and fire pits ,music that went along with some of the lights??

They had six people working on it ,starting at seven Halloween mouring.

They had maybe ten cars drive by, and probably that many trick or treaters .

I know they're mormons , wonder if it hold some importance to them because of that ?????

When I lived in chambana Illinois , had a friend in urbana that lived in a neighborhood that near Christmas was called Candle Stick Lane.

It was pretty cool, but really the pics people have shown me from the seventies...lot more lights and participation from the area.

Candle stick lane even had a wiki page and lots of YouTube videos, none to impressive by today's standards..lol

Should be made some sort of hanging offence to erect xmas lights and decorations before the 12th of December.
Personally, I'm of the opinion that any date before the 24th is excessive and they must be brought down no later than the 28th, hangovers permitting.

I had a neighbor where I used to live that was like that. They never took the decorations down. They tuned the lights on on them November and December and didn't light them up the rest of the year. lol

I'm with you on that! Unfortunately there are other forces living under my roof that are actively instigating an insurrection if I don't relent, compromise might be the better choice of action.

A week of New Year pagan celebration is enough for anyone, surely?

Those super holiday fans world over

Thank goodness we mostly don't have the way too serious religious celebrants, as they have in 3rd world.
Remember those videos of parades of men whipping their backs bloody in Iraq?
