Hi peeps, been looking for a full fairing in England for the bike, no luck so far, Vetter fairings obviously will fit, but is there another type that will fit ? Thanks for any help.

Pantera I and II fit, using Vetter brackets.
Also Rickman (made a couple of sports fairings and a touring one, the Polaris, using Vetter fittings), Acrybre, and half a dozen other makers of the day.
Depends on your preferences for looks. Vetter and Pantera are full-on touring barn doors, but are actually reasonably slippery at speed, certainly more slippy than an unfaired bike.
The surviving makers of fairings still offer some screens for the classics, but getting a complete fairing for a 1980 GS of any type will be one-in-a-million New Old Stock or buying used. Production aftermarket fairings have dropped off the list long time ago. Used prices vary from a tenner to dreamers wanting hundreds.
      However,
Skidmarx fairings are made from GRP fibreglass and are available to fit a wide selection of naked bikes, such as the Suzuki Bandit Kawasaki ER-5 and Honda CB500R.

The other makers have shrunk their offerings to sports screens and the like.
If you want to buy a more sporty fairing new...and have all the fun and frustration of making brackets, several times.

Prices at the bottom of the page.

79 XS650SE - Pragmatic Ratter - goes better than a manky old twin should.
