    GS650g oring 51181-31030

Does anyone know the fresh size of a 51181-31030 o ring?

    Thank!

The "31" starting the latter half of the o-ring is often (but not always) the nominal inside diameter in mm. The thickness or material of the o-ring don't seem to be encoded in part numbers.

However, the prefix is not the usual prefix used for o-rings, 09280-, so there may be something different about this one.

It looks like it's used somewhere in the forks, so maybe it's a different material, cross-section, or hardness than standard? To give one example, intake o-rings are made from a special heat-resistant material, so you can't use standard buna-n o-rings in the same size. Something similar might apply here.

I'd just order the correct part from one of the many online sellers of Suzuki parts.

It should be the size of the fork tube externally and the cap internally
Its not sealing a moving part
