Is that the V&H Street Megaphone, or the Sidewinder header?
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

Old Turn 14, now 17 @ The Ridge.

Had a whole session battle with this guy, he kept looking back hearing something on his tail.
Think he may have a gotten tired on the last lap, as I found away by.
He was tentative entering 3 slower corners, but rolled on the V-4 on exits.

Last shot in the pits with buddies back in June.

Someone needs to go through and count how many are actually GSs... or not. I know I'm guilty of posting way more non-GS rides than GS.

On that note, I'll be doing a fun overnighter in Globe tomorrow. It's only 100 miles round-trip, but it lets me rail through Salt River Canyon.

Not my video, and you'll want to turn the sound off or put on some good rock, but it shows the canyon.

This came up in my facebook from 7 years ago...my cousin and his wife flew out from Ontario and with me and my wife we rode my two old suzukis throughout BC for a week. The bikes never let us down. It still seems a bit crazy when I think about it...two up and loaded with gear. I had not seen my cousin in ten years and he was the one that got me into bikes....He's 10 years older than me and I would ride on the tank of his cb750four...at 17 he co-signed for my first new bike...a 1983 gs750ed...which I have again in my collection.

Yes! GOing for ride !(And taking pictures).

I tried to start a similar thread on two other bike forums (Honda Shadow, BMW SportTouring).... and got a few comments, another posting or two of pics, but neither kept going for long.

And here on GSR, "Who went for ride?", you post (above) was post 10,000 !

The threads like this in the HD groups are generally the most vibrant.
