Heavy overcast this afternoon.
A little photo expedition out behind the fence.

Pana GX1 w/ Oly 45 f/1.8 & 10mm extension.
Big trick was to find two flowers so fill the frame at the lens minimum focus, and find two in about the same plane so in the depth of focus.
I dont recall what type of wildflower. Is similar to phlox but isnt. Poked around a couple wildflower ID sites and didnt find it. I successfully looked it up last year with some difficulty, and dont remember.

Dogwood tree blossom at daughters house. . . . . and a visiting guest.
Was a bit windy, which effected the focus, and the visiting guest was gone before I could get a good look at it.

Maybe could have minimized the pier, and shown more waves-sun-lake, but is kinda hard to think when out there with the wind and all the commotion. But that is part of the fun, if waves there is all this commotion going on but can walk out there. Did bring home maybe a quart of lake water with me.
