Alighty I think this one we should all strive to shoot for more of this year.

One on one GSR Family time!

My bike hanging with Rich's bike at Rich's house.

The Best thing about the GSR is the group of guys on here. I was talking with Rich (over dinner in person) and the best experience with the GSR is by far the one one one time we have with fellow members off the forum and in the flesh. This is what GSR is all about, getting on the bike, riding to meet up and enjoying each other's company! So post a shot with your bike and a bike of a GSR member to prove there is more than just surfing GSR, we still ride to hang out to keep this forum great!

Hope ya'll got to ride. It's full on summer this weekend in Vermont. Crazy!

Member MrHedges was on an adventure out West and his valve cover gasket sprang a leak. He had a gasket shipped to my house a few days prior then stopped in for an afternoon. We enjoyed some GSR "family time" wrenching and eating lunch. He left here and headed to Big Bend park in Texas.

Mid May 2013, buzzing down the highway on GK about 70 miles from home on way to Brown County Rally,
am about to the Mich-Ind state line, and a Suzuki GS comes from an entrance ramp and next to me.
I give a causal wave, he gives a casual wave . . . and then he gives an exaggerated excited wave, and yet more waving. I figure the guy took a while to notice I was on a GS too.
THen he gives more excited waves, and then at next exit more waving motions to pull over.
So we pull off the exit.
                  Stop at a gas station.
The Guy pulls off his helmet and asks where I am going, how am I doing, do I got time to visit.
Oh, then I recognize, hey, Its Buffalo Bill.

And, Yah, I am near New Buffalo.
Bill And I had met up a couple times before at Gilmore Vintage Bike show, and we had met up on other occasion for parts swap.
Only excuse for why I didnt recognize him was the fullface helmet and different bike.
We talked and visited for some time. And then he harasses me for being on the highway, and then leads me on some interesting back roads, bypassing the urban areas, thru some small farming towns, and takes me to the outskirts of Valparaiso (close to my destination for the night, Tim twr1776Land).

I have other pics of meeting :
                  - Tom tkent02 when he was in the area for a long weekend.
                  - Tim twr1776 & bwringer and JoeNardy & GregWazz for wrenching partys. ANd other with Griffin.
                  - Don dpep when he flew here to buy my 850G and ride it home to Florida by-way-of Iowa Galena rally and WV rally.
                  - Greg78GS750 at Muskegon Bike Time and a couple other times to go for ride (when he worked at a place along one of my favorite rides).
                  - 850Guy when he was visiting this side of the state.

But this pic with Buffalo Bill shows both bikes and both of us.

Well after I bought a GS from ddaniels (no picture of us) I sold my 550 to my friend Jon (500 miles away!), who then joined GSR for a few posts...
                      This was about 2010.
