We like a good mystery/thriller. Last night digging around Prime we found I See You, and thoroughly enjoys it. Great plot twists that keep you guessing.

About to hop on the Harley to go see the final Craig Bond film. He's had a hell of a run, and he revitalized Bond in a way that had been lacking since Connery first left the franchise.

I'd stack him up against Connery any day. Those old films are a little bit too campy sometimes. I rank Craig at least second of the all time 007 actors.

One of the old-timesy stations just ran a 48 hour marathon of The Prisoner. Patrick McGoohan is the best non-Bond British spy of TV or film. Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan are not even in the same league.

Honorable mention to Michael Caine (The Ipcress File).

Roger Moore's Bond was so silly I've never watch any Bond film since Connery.

Silly, yes, but Moore was the Bond of my youth. Silly, absolutely. Moonraker, my favorite movie as an 8-9 year old, was probably my first Bond film. Maybe that’s what sticks, him being my first. Try to watch that movie now, it’s practically Unwatchable. He was good as the Saint, and who could forget Cannonball Run. Everyone in that movie was wonderfully terrible, but that’s what we love about it.

that's a spot on ranking but you missed one which many people do. David Niven in Casino Royale, it was produced by a different company which maybe why it's often not mentioned with the other Bond movies but Sean Connery also a made Bond film with a different producer. I'd put Niven up with Connery as an actor but hut only made the one bond film.

Speculation on who the next bond could be Idris Elba is often mentioned, he'd be a great choice, he plays the cool ruthless characters very well.

I was directed to a netflix series by my kids Squid Game, a Korean made drama. I'd seen it on the Netflix list but just passed it by as the title didn't interest me but kids kept talking about so I gave one episode a try and I was hooked. Koreans make great movies I shouldn't have so hesitant, the mrs watched the 1st episode and didn't care for it then she watched the 2nd and she was hooked . We went through the entire season in 3 days.

I liked Elba in the recent Suicide Squad movie, think he’d be a good 007. Maybe it’s time they made Bond a female, like Dr. Who……… NOOOOOOOOOO. PLEASE, just NO!

Yah, that didn't work out well, and we tried to like it. I've been watching Dr. Who since Tom Baker. Watched every season, every Christmas special, all of it. But the new Dr. just did not work for either of us. We gave her a good try, many episodes, because you never like the new doctor at first, but no.

Not sure why that is though. Not because of the sex change. I actually thought it was a good idea, and having the doctor in a female form should have been fun/interesting. But it didn't work for some reason, at least for us. It's like she just wasn't "doctory" enough...or something.

Bob, my sentiment about the female Dr. is exactly the same. I think Jodie Whittaker is wonderful, and even the supporting cast was good. But it just didn’t work. I watched her whole first season and some of the second. Really wanted to like her in the role. Too bad. Curious what they’ll do with the next transformation. I haven’t given up on it yet.

Idris Elba already said he will not be the next Bond. He didn't discount ever playing the role (though, at 49, he's getting toward the upper end of the character's viability).

Moore was Bond when I got into Bond, and two of my favorite Bond films, simply for the scenery and over-the-top characters, were during Moore's tenure, but Connery was the best Bond, with Craig coming a close second. Sadly, this last Craig film is too syrupy, too unbalanced, and a bit too self-indulgent to measure up to Craig's first outing, which really did knock it out of the ballpark.
