A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.
A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.
Thanks, Ed. These actually came off a KZ900 I picked up locally. No title for it so I am not sure of it's fate.
The slides are glued and great idea with the heat gun.
If you don't need the O-rings, I will be happy to use them. You can send me a PM with the total and I will Paypal you.
I did read about the jet block screws being fragile.
Hey Rich,
If you have some calipers please measure the air screw and fuel transfer tube O-ring sizes. I've got a box full of O-rings and need to refresh my memory as to what ones fit the Smoothbores.

Edit: found the sizes. BV30/40 - fuel transfer tube O-rings are 8.70 x 1.95mm, VM14/75 for the air screws are 2.50 x 1.55mm.
Would this be the air screw o-ring:https://www.z1enterprises.com/product/KL18-4636-1
I just started to rebuild a very rough looking set of 29's as well. found in an attic with unknown history. They need a bit of work but are salvageable. Follow the progress on my Facebook page here...... https://www.facebook.com/Agemax.carbs/
I polish them, i am a sucker for shiny things. Wont help them work any better but they sure look nice when you drop the bowls off!Nice work Agemax! Since there is some interest, I will post more pictures as I proceed with mine.
Do you polish the needles, floats etc. or are they brightened by a particular solvent?

I have a guy local to me who does all my zinc plating cheap. All the steel parts get done and all the fasteners will be stainless steelYou need a zinc plating setup. All those steel parts you stripped are going to rust all to crap when some moisture hits them.
They look awesome, got any more pics?
