DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Merry Xmas to me....

Been working on the project bike since May. After 6 weeks at the painters, I got to pick them up today. What do you think?

That's a beautiful paint job! Be sure to post pics once you have the bike all back together.

Merry Christmas to you!

Man that looks awesome. I wonder what the rest of the bike looks like?

Looks good!:) If the paint quality really looks that good in person could you tell us how much and who did the work/contact info?
I'm sure many here may be interested.

A work of art :-) does it look the way you imagined? it looks like a hot-rod! Must be a candidate for bike of the month.

Yeah, it's gorgeous. It's a Kandy pearl fade to black on each piece. I'm very happy the way it came out. First time I've done anything like this. This guy (John) works out of his backyard. Took him 6 weeks, but he moonlights for the local Harley Shop. He doesn't advertise - and he ain't cheap. PM me if you want a ball park $$. See his work at http://www.customcyclestudio.com/

Hahaha...kinda like a Chevelle eh? The stripes were better than I hoped for. They came out great. Thanks for the kind words.:-D

Wow! That looks great! The colors look very nice together and the clear looks like it is elbow deep. Very nice!

Aw, man that's NICE!! Love the color! Beautiful!! :-D
Thanks. It's hard picking a color from a paint chip, but it came out great.

Yeah, having depth to the paint was very important to me. Thanks for the compliment.

Dude, that's sweet!
Can't wait to see the pics of the completed bike!

Actually they reminded me of the Ford GT supercar, a simply beautiful machine. Killboy caught one on the Dragon recently but it was missing the stripes.

I love the stripes on your paint. Kind of a more up to date skunk look.

How do you like those mirrors???

How do you like those mirrors???

Beautiful bike!
The prettiest paint I have seen on a GS!
I have seen those mirrors for sale, thinking about getting a set.
How well do they work?

Thanks tkent but on the mirrors..one word of advice....don't.

At least from fleEbay. I like the mirrors but they are mostly-plastic knockoffs. I've seen the real mirrors these are modeled from somewhere...Arlen Ness maybe?
