Permatex chain lube

This stuff is thin and messy. The only good thing is that it comes in a small can. Avoid at all costs. I had a mishap with my Chain Wax so I needed to find some lube quickly while on the road. I chose the Permatex over a few other unknown brands and can't think of a reason to stick with it. I was putting it on every tank of gas and could never find any remains on the chain. I didn't get any wear using it but it isn't very good. I'll check my chain slack tomorrow when the bike is cool to give a final *damage* report.
