    $89 flux core welder???

Yes, you read that right. I found a 220V flux core welder on fleabay and said "why not."

Glad I did. After my purchase it jumped to $120.

It is a pocket welder. Small, light weight and it works, well. It fixed my $80 vise so it was worth it.

And now for something fancy... these are the fancy grip ends as found on cheap online handle bar grips.

I have wired in a recepticle on my a.c. junction box ( I have a box style system for my mobile home ) and I run an extension cord about 30 feet.

Yes, I'm lucky because I have x2 of these cords. The 2nd one is almost 100 feet and I can weld stuff in my neighbors driveway LOL

Interesting... I don't weld but I watch YouTube videos on the topic semi-regularly so that basically makes me an expert.

Anyway, one guy I watch does a ton of fabrication work and likes the Chinese YesWelder brand for living up to their own hype while being surprisingly affordable.

I have a YesWelder helmet that performes fairly well when mig welding or grinding. Huge issue tig welding.
