    Gear Update Time

Wow, it's been a long time since I really posted anything so hopefully I remember how to do this.

I should really consider replacing my jacket this year as though it still works great, the Joe Rocket Alter Ego 3.0 is definitely showing its age no matter how much I try to clean it. As that jacket was an all-weather model and no longer offered by Joe Rocket (not even their Alter Ego 4.0 is available), I'm thinking I'll buy a separate Mesh and Textile jacket this year.

Unfortunately, I am not too thrilled with what I am finding both in the store and online right now. Yes, I know it's still early in the year but since my birthday is just around the corner, I figured I would splurge before the season gets into full swing.

Does anyone have any recommendations on jackets to look for? Yes, I am still on the larger side so anything I buy will need to be a 2X.

    Thanks all.

I prefer Schott leather (and other) jackets. They have a good website and many selections.

      Check out Sedici brand.
I'm not sure of the style I have but it fits me pretty good.
For the Sedici brand pants. Since I have a short inseam, the lady sizes have a reduced inseam compared to the mens. 29" vs 32" FYI
Take a ride up to Iron Pony. Try on some gear... Good luck
