Input on bags that will look right on my '81 GS1000?

I was hoping to get some insight from the people about bags for my bike. I found some options on eBay, but I am a visual person and I'd hate to get them and not like how they look. I have the luggage rack on the back, but I would like to get some saddle bags. As always, the cheaper the better!

    Thanks for your input!!

For some good bags at great prices check out www.motopakluggage.com .

They had been running some ebay auctions alos and you can end up with luggage below normal retail.

I use a Motopak Tankbag every day and the saddlebags when the GS hits the road.

I looked them on eBay and they are actioning for $45, but asking $114 on their website. They don't have a buy it now feature, but I'm sure it won't go for full price. Nice looking bags too.

Thanks very much for your help!

Wow, I'm buying the "Roll" seat bag... I've been looking for a seat bag that I can actually put tent poles and my Sven saw inside for camping purposes... damn cool stuff on that site for good prices. Thanks!

Canadian pricing needs updating. 20% markup for CDN $.

HA! He IS Canadian. I sent him an email.
              Got a reply. Wow. Fast.

All pricing is in $US, for the Canadians.

Will any of the saddlebags shown on that page fit without modification on a 1982 GS750E?

I have the GT27 tank bag and really like it. Fully expanded it holds my HJC full face helmet very nicely. My Nolan modular is a little tight but if I tug enough it will fit as well. Not sure how much I paid. Bought off ebay so I'm sure I didn't pay full price.

The GT27 is great but I wish it had a few more smaller compartments. It has a nice little pocket on the front which detaches and become a fanny pack. It could use a little pocket like that on each side.

Inside is cavernous when fully expanded.

I've been planning to buy the big saddle bags for a while but am spending all my money on parts and tools right now. Thanks for reminding me because I'll need to pick them up before the BC Rally.
