About two months ago, I started completely taking apart and cleaning my carbs. In the process, I noticed float post pin that was hanging on by a thread. I touched it, it fell off.

I brought it to a local machine ship that rebuilds classic engines. They couldn't fix it. I did some research and ended up shipping it off to MotorcycleCarbs.com. They offer a float post repair service.

I got it back within a very reasonable time frame. It was repaired perfectly, very smooth, and felt very solid. I'm happy with the service.

Here's a pic of the broken post. Sorry I forgot it in the first post.

I put the carbs back together as soon as this was shipped back to me, so, unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the fix, but it was very professional.
