I just bought that same one...only I paid quite a bit more. That same unit is sold by quite a few different sellers. That's the cheapest I've seen it. I haven't used mine yet so can't give a review. It seems decent enough though.Ed

Please let us know how they work. My Harbor Freight one is only capable of 1 carb at a time, the one advertised is not much more than the HF one was.sigpic

6L might be a little small. I have a 10L unit made by Prosonix in the U.S. and sometimes wish it was bigger. Try to find one made in the U.S. There's some nice used ones on ebay.

That 6L jobby is big enough to do two carb bodies at the same time.Ed

I have a similar (stainless, heated, arrangement, construction type) but smaller unit (around 2-3L) and am very satisfied with it.#1: 1979 GS 550 EC "Red" – Very first Bike / Overhaul thread New here? ☛ Read the Top 10 Newbie mistakes thread

Paraphrasing an earlier post of mine in a different thread; Start with distilled/demineralized water (filtrated tap water is ok as well, as long as it chalk/lime has been removed) and add some plain old dish soap (liquid) - the trick is to bring down the surface tension of the solution.
Also, heat to ~50?C. You can go higher, but in my case, that requires me to replace boiled off water from time to time if I have many pieces in there. I prefer not to babysit it, but as said, experiment and find out what works best for you.
You can always invest in some special stuff later on. Personally I didn't find any need for it so far.#1: 1979 GS 550 EC "Red" – Very first Bike / Overhaul thread New here? ☛ Read the Top 10 Newbie mistakes thread

I use Simple Green Pro. I get it at Home Depot by the gallon, and it's actually colored purple. I dilute it three parts water to one part SGP.
I'm sure there are other cleaners that people use, but that does a great job for me.Comment

I bought the 10L version of this and I'm happy with it. I do wish I had purchased the 15L version so I could throw a bank of 4 carbs in it though. The footprint is pretty small.Comment

6L version is even on sale...
It's smoke that make electronic components work.
Every time I've let the smoke out by mistake, they never work again.
