Dont know what it costs to host a website but i would bet Robert would give his blessings to use the cycleorings name.

so it would be interesting to know how many people are going there these days and finding the site closed down?

I'm definitely not a webmaster but according to some basic research:
a. according to similarweb.com there is less than 5K visit/month to cycleorings.com
b. according to https://ahrefs.com/backlink-checker there is a whole bunch of web pages out there refering to cycleorings.com
c. according to https://whois.domaintools.com/ the renewal of the cycleorings.com domain registration is due by 2023-01-04
I'm pretty sure we could solicit the community via a gofundme to keep this valuable ressource living and, why not, give Robert a well deserved retreat gift.

Very interesting info. According to the backlink-checker site, there was an oil change pdf and a stator page that cycleorings hosted, and between them there are 47 backlinks. Relative to O-rings, there are 20. Regarding visits, there is no data. That part would be really interesting.

Bought some stamps today, including international stamps. As long as your country doesn't have any Draconian rules about "letters," it looks like a set of O-rings can be sent quite inexpensively- $1 extra over US shipped prices.

Three members have ordered so far, and I've got enough O-rings for scores more.

I'm also assembling O-ring kit for Kawasaki KZ bikes. The VM and BS/CV Mikuni's are very similar, but with slight differences. Also, I've got Keihin kits for the popular KZ750 bikes like mine! What's not to like!

I have a 1983 KZ1100 LTD that has BS34 Carbs, difference being that the choke is on the carb body instead of the handle bar. Do you have an O-ring Kit for these?

Yes I do. There are a number of differences between the Suzuki and Kawasaki kits, including the pilot screw, drain screws, and pilot plugs. PM me if you want a set.

Just wanted to drop a note of thanks to the community for all the O-ring sales support. As of this posting, there have been 95 shipments of O-rings for the GS community. Interestingly, for the KZ crew, for which I also offer VM and CV kits, there have only been 12 shipments. In fairness to the Kawasaki boys, I don't offer a 550 kit, though. GSR folk here are to be commended for realizing the importance of a proper carb rebuild. Do the (carb rebuild) job right the FIRST TIME, and PROFIT!

Hi Ed. I notice above you said you don't have a kit for the KZ550. I recently picked up a 1981 KZ550A with the TK 22mm VM carbs on it. The bike has sat for years. I haven't done anything to it yet other than check compression.

If I sent the carbs to you and paid return shipping costs, would you be willing to create an o-ring kit for them?

We can disccuss further via DM if you'd prefer.
