    Carb Rebuilding

It seems that Chef Bill is too busy keeping his fleet of buggies running around Santa Barbara, so I'm going to offer my services to the members here in need.

A basic carb rebuild includes cleaning, new O-rings, and new bowl gaskets. If extra parts are needed, I have some spares I'll offer at fair prices, but supplies are limited, so you may need to help with sourcing.

    $250 + shipping

If the pilot screws and/or jets are all buggered, I'll do my best to save the carb body, but I may hit you up for some extra beer money for the effort.

    Thanks for looking
    Ed

I bought a huge pail of Berrymans "pro" formula carb dip. This stuff is amazing; removing varnish and grunge after about an hour of soaking. Downside, though, it stinks like nothing else I've ever experienced. The fumes penetrate clothing and make them smell until washed. I recently traded a set of KZ VM's to a guy on KZ Rider for a bunch of core sets, including some GS sets, so I've been busy. Good fun

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

I traded a guy on KZ Rider a set of really nice VM26's, fully rebuilt, for a "crate of cores." Eight sets in total, including three GS sets. Each of the crate cores needed select parts, so I've been busy sourcing and rebuilding. I've got six sets done, including BS32's from a 2nd gen 750 and another from a GS550.

If anyone is need of either the 750 or 550 set, hit me up, and maybe we can work something out.

A huge Thank You, Ed, for your help, through a couple of P M's, regarding some CV Carb cleaning and tuning tips. Above and beyond. My GS thanks you as well.

Hey Ness, while my GS is down for the gsxr head, do you have the ability to take on my Keihin CRs? Or are you sticking with OEM carbs for now?

I use Castrol Super Clean and it WILL strip paint off as well.
Yes, my VM26's were painted black.
However, it's smell doesn't turn your innards, out LOL.
It can also be used multiple times.

Also, if you get any request from NE FL or parts close to me, I can assist if needed.
I can sync/tune if the bike is brought to me. No one want's to pay for my windshield time :-)
