Looking for recommendation on a bag to put on stock (I think) GS1100E rear rackI'd like something simple and inexpensive to fit on the back of my GS1100E. The base area is small, only 6" wide x 7" long. Maybe something like this Tourmaster, it's local. I will call about it, wants $60 hmmm, not sure how it attaches or the size, not much description on it.

No clue what you're using it for nor size of the one you,ve found. Just say'in, my GSX1100G rack is 8" wide and 6" front to back, with an attached 6" tall back rest. My 6" X 6" x 8" insulated bag fits perfectly, completely snug and stable with 1 bungee cord. Easily holds 4 20 oz. drinks, a couple of packs of Eat-O-Snax (snack crackers) and insulin & syringes. Dang, it sure looks like your rack could have easily been appx.3" wider if they'd have just put the rails near the outer edge.... Good luck.1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw. Yes, that looks to be a stock rack!

I use a Nelson-Rigg commuter bag on my passenger seat for all my essential items. (tire kit, compressor, tools, etc.) They make 3 different sizes and range from $119 to $159 each with a lifetime warranty. Right now they have a 25% discount using "labor2024" code.Ron

Norm had this post about his N-R tail bag recently. Seems like good quality and good customer service.
.png) Gotta give a shout out to Nelson-Rigg! I bought one of their commuter series tail bags about a year ago. Had an issue with a zipper pull breaking and they sent me 2 zipper pulls at no charge. :D Fast forward to about a month ago........While chasing a couple of GSR hooligans in the Farmington, Missouri area,:D I had a zipper Gotta give a shout out to Nelson-Rigg! When did you get an 11E? What year? I fondly remember your 11EZ turbo, just getting over the loss. 1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red 1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

Are Viking Bags paying you for this?Originally posted by thiagosilva8 View PostI’ve actually been using the Viking Axwell Small Motorcycle Tail Bag on bikes with stock rear racks, and it’s fantastic—low-profile, rugged Cordura build, universal mounting straps that hug any sissy bar or rack snugly, and even includes a rain cover for wet rides.Dave
