Looking to see the fitment crossover and if a 1982 gs1000 header exhaust will fit my 1978 gs1000? Thanks !

Suzuki didn't make a GS1000 for the 1982 model year. That said, most 1000 & 1100 headers will match up to the head, but there are differences in how the mufflers mount.Ed

Dang it, confused again, too many yrs. back to 1982. I's thinking the Suzuki GS1000 Katana was one yr. only, 1981. Then got to searching and am finding, I think, there was a GS1000SV in 1981 and also a GS1000SZ in 1982. I do remember for sure they didn't sell very well, as there were left-overs sitting around for a few yrs.1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw. Partshark and other part sellers show a 1000S and E for 1982.
