Well, I am having some difficulty uploading pic from my phone. When I click upload nothing happens.

Forget about uploading photos to this site. The bandwith limit makes the photos show up poorly. Instead, get an independant photo hosting site, like Flikr, or similar, and link the BB (bulletin board) code to your messages. That makes the photos show up in high resoution.

Ok, I am not getting any spark. This happened to me 3 years ago and I replaced the voltage regulator and it took care of it. Do the voltage regulators on these bikes go bad often?

Yes, they do. The stock regulator/ rectifier frequently, if not always, goes bad. Go back a few posts and look at Nessism's signature for the link to the Top Ten Newbie Mistakes thread.

Correct me if I am wrong, Roger, but as long as the battery has enough juice, he should get spark? Whether the regulator is working or not?

Do we have a battery voltage measurement?

Thank you. So, it's sort of like the water pumps on the 80's Ninjas. Easier to change out though.

It's not uncommon for the dodgy old voltage regulator to go high output and take out the ignitor.
Cure is a Dyna ignitor and an SH-775 regulator.
