I just purchased a supposed 1982 gs1100e but the title says 1982 g. BUT--wheels are 1983 and engine is a black with black pipes .And chain drive so it's not a G. Did Suzuki make any black engines in 1982??? This definitely a factory engine .

No guarantees but thinking I've read or heard some states titles have the model yr. listed as when the bike is first sold and titled.
