Chuck, I was routing out for the shelves the day after I got home from the hospital. I figured it deserved one day's rest.

I wished! No, one was for towels and such for the downstairs bathroom. The other three are for the sewing room.

Fork seal started leaking yesterday, did the "thin piece of plastic" dirt removal swipe thing and it seems fine arter some pumping of the forks in the garage. We will see after a good ride.
Also tightened the stem/head slotted ring, I thought I felt a micro-"clunk" in my steering neck.....it took a little turn...should have drawn it together.

Started my 530 chain/sprocket conversion on my '77 GS750. Appears to be all original parts. Yeah, I think it's due. All bearings are good so I'll order parts thru Z1 tomorrow.

Put these red wheelies on the 1150 so I could swap out the 3.5" rear stocker..

What did you steal those rims off of?
They actually look pretty darn good on that bike IMHO.

It came as a package deal with a roller 1150 drag bike that someone yanked the engine out of. I have had them for awhile and wasn't sure what to do with them. I agree they actually look good on it.

Looks like a departure from those 'interesting' original bars ... what's going on there?

                      Off with the wheel...

On with new sprockets and chain. 630!? Huge mf... Think the rear sprocket is on the right way, guys? My buddy and I weren't sure.

Also replaced contact breakers and condensers. Tomorrow exhaust, and monday is the show-and-tell at the "dmv".

I just dropped the front end about 2 centimeters on my L model forks. It seems a little more agile in the neighborhood. We'll see when i get her on the freeway.

Replaced the stator on the 850L, now have power. Finished fabing the side panels out of .020 aircraft aluminum. Just basic cover the stuff panels that snap on and pop off, no screws, straps, buttons or such. The engine is not sorted out yet. Hard to get it to pull beyond 6000 in 1-4 and 5000 in fifth. Misses bad, bigger jets I think but will look at the sync first.
