Replaced both battery cables on the girlfriend's Jeep Grand Cherokee after it blew up earlier this week and then replaced the speedometer cable on the bike:

Clutch cable snapped while riding ! Barely made it home. Thank GOD all green lights. Then tore it apart only to find lots of previous owner issues like sockets and screwdriver bits buried in the muck in the sprocket cover. Ordered the parts, let the waiting begin. Then there are the pesky oil seal leaks. Might as well do that too while the thing is 1/2 apart. That is, if I can negotiate with my 2 year old to move his power wheels toys over so I can have room to work on the bike .

New front rotors and brake pads for the minivan. Wife was complaining about the fluctuations. Warped rotors. All good now.

i tore my bike down ,to rebuild the motor finally, man what a pain in the
need to remove the coils and brake arm, then its out, man this motor is heavy! it feels as heavy as my old kz1000 lol
30k on the clock still runs well!, its starting to smoke,and a lil rattly on top, needed the trans fixed, so i have another tranny, r shock,sprocket,carbs,ect... its a nice lil cruser, it really is
maybe just a re ring?
30k need bored? who wants to run bets? lol
wish i could resto it like some on here but im in debt

Got the frame off clean up and polishing of the 78 1000 C done and started the reassembly.. Put the front end all back on, swing arm and back rim, all the brake calipers and lines, all the elecrical stuff on the battery box back on, put the wiring harness back in, installed the headlight bucket, guages put on..now its down to cleaning up and polishing the engine covers, restoring the engine case badges, redoing the handle bar switch boxes, and the new paint on the tank and body parts.

got the motor off the 83 750,what a pain in the ass, there is no way they put those motors in the frame fully assembled, and even when they do i would still like to know how they put them in with out scratch in the paint!
bottom end with pistons,in first?then head ect.. after in the frame!
remember there small ppl , and not to strong, i would like to have seen it back then
book makes it sound so easy! all mounts off, then slide it out to the right, (YEA RIGHT!), had to be tilted, finagled around the air box "real pain right there",and lifted out
oh and the rear brake lever they say to take off, it doesnt need to , i had no problem with it!

i dont understand why they didnt make the frame cradle unboltable,and motor drop out the bottom, would be so much easier

Well, the past couple of days I was swapping an engine out of a Kia Sephia. Ended up having to change the water pump on the new(used) motor. Glad I found out before I put the engine back in, it would have been a major pain to change with the engine in the car...

Removed the entire top end of my '83 1100E. Was making funny noises. Found a wrist pin clip loose on #3 and a very ugly piston. Suprisingly, the bore wasn't badly scored. Nevertheless, it'll take a rebore to 75mm, some new Wisecos and a set of cams just for the pure joy of spending large amounts of money.

Now if I can remember how to put it back together again.
