OK, I'm finally home and able to make another contribution.

Before the building was erected several years ago, there was a sign announcing its impending arrival:

    COMING SOON ... A MILLION-STORY BUILDING!

OK, now for one that might be a bit difficult.

    How about a bandshell?

Extra points if it's in an amphitheater.

    I don't think I cheated any here.
There is a GS in the pictures.
    They were both taken TODAY.
They are both within 1/4 mile of my house.
The park is across the street.
(I can see the top of the bandshell through my living room window.)

        I didn't get caught.

The only other option would have been to park on the stage or on one of the dirt paths part-way up the hill.

Good point. Although, anyone that rides is certainly crazy.
And why would any idiot place the handicapped parking directly in front of the stage anyway???

We only have one band shell around here and I posted it as a tag just a couple of weeks ago. Is it ok to go get a pic of the same shell?

OK, Bob, just for you, I "moved" to a non-handicapped spot.

Hmm.... Gonna have to do some thinking on this one. There's one in Stanley Park, but I've already used it. Time to hit Google and do some exploring.

                  Sorry, I missed that one.

I went back a few pages (mine are 40 posts each), but did not see anything but a few churches and a BUNCH of bickering.
Your bandshell was 153 posts ago, evidently I did not go back far enough.

OK, if not the bandshell, go for the extra points. Find an amphitheater.

Because the "idiot" that put it there is SMART. That handicapped parking is for people in wheelchairs (not their cars), so they have paved access to get to and see the concert/show.

If you looked at the other pictures, the entire area is an amphitheater, meaning that it's all a hill. In this case, a grassy hill. Not much fun for wheelchairs or people with walkers to hobble in and park their chairs.

Just another note, the concrete 'wings' that you can see at either side of the bandshell are used as part of the stage for plays, but during concerts, especially the "Big Band" concerts, they are dance floors. Very cool to see people out there dancing, espcially when they start doing the Jitterbug or the Charleston.

Shoot, just got home with my library picture, lol. And get this, when I went to get my next picture, I was AROUND THE CORNER from the amphitheater! BLARG, lol.

No amphitheaters around me that I can ride up to.
There is one at a campground, but I think a body was just found in the water by it this morning. I'm going out for a birthday ride after work, so I'll see if I can find it and see if its open.
Who knows, maybe the next tag will be a dead body.
